On The Hook Sportfishing was founded in the year 2000 under  Fish & Fowl Outfitters.  The name was changed to On TheHook Sportfishing Inc. in 2004.

The name had a better fit for where Greg is heading with the business.  Captain Greg has over 23 years experience running boats on the Great Lakes and Navigable

U.S. waterways since he was 12 years old.  Greg grew up on the lower Detroit River and Lake Erie and has been chasing every species of fish and fowl that inhabit the area

 ever since.  Captain Greg has extensive experience in Lake Michigan and Lake Huron waters for trout and salmon species.  Greg has traveled the country in search of

many species such as Yellowfin and Stripers off the Outer Banks,  trolling the Islamorada hump for billfish, or flyfishing the Gunnison for rainbows.  Greg has also devoted

the last six years of his career to fishing on the professional walleye trail PWT and RCL/FLW walleye circuits.  He has become a household name in the walleye fishing

 industry. Captain Greg is very devoted to sportfishing around the country and stays in tune with changing technologies and tactics at all times. Greg's primary focus is

on sportfishing and education, however he still offers some of the best fall waterfowl hunts in the Detroit River and Lake Erie region.  Limited trips available.  Join us for a

Captain Greg is devoted to providing a quality day on the water for all of our guest with education and demonstration being his key focus. Greg wants to show you how

run the equipment, set up the tackle and gear,and learn new presentations.  Our goal is not to just get you on the fish and back to the dock immediately but to help you

 learn techniques and how to read changing conditions  so you can apply the same tactics from your own boat on any body of water you fish.  Captain Greg wants his

 guest to have a positive experience that involves more than just a limit of fish.  He wants this to be an experience they will remember and that they can utilize the

 information gained to enhance their fishing knowledge the next time they head out on their own.
